How to Create a Highly Converting Offer
Sep 05, 2022When creating the perfect, high converting offer, for your products or services, there are a few key areas to consider:
WHAT - What are you selling? If you are a fitness coach, what is the transformation or service that you are offering? What are its core benefits and bonuses? What is the key result I can expect, if I invest in your programme? Be specific and intentional, what is the biggest outcome - no one will invest in being 'fitter' but they will invest in 'loosing 10 pounds in 10 weeks' if that is the outcome they want.
WHO - Who is going to benefit from your offer? What are their pain points right now, what are they struggling with and what is the emotion attached to that struggle i.e. frustration, overwhelm, confusion. Most people buy from emotion, so if you have clarity of how they are feeling, you can tap into that emotion and speak directly to them in your social media posts, newsletters, sales pages etc. This is also how you ensure that you only call in the clients that are aligned to you and your values.
HOW - How your product or service can help them. Your audience doesn't know what it doesn't know.. read that again. Some people will not even realise that they can be helped so this is your chance to lean into how your transformation can benefit them. This is where powerful testimonials from previous clients will also help you to sell, as your audience will see themselves in your clients, and be inspired by their results.
WHEN - If you aren't making sales right now, and you have hit the other points, you are probably missing any sense of urgency in your offer. How can you incentivise your audience to buy NOW instead of in 6 months down the line? It could be through discounts, additional bonuses or scarcity (limiting the numbers available).
WHY - Why do they need to work with, or buy from, you specifically? This is your opportunity to connect with your audience on a deeper level and remind them how great you are. Whether you have industry awards, or a personal story that relates to your transformation, it all counts, and will set you apart from others in the same space as you.
